AWESOME stuff, there. My favorite of the 4 posted is the last one. The studio ones are also great. Keep it up!

Thanks for the comments guys, it was much appreciated! The watercolor one is actually my first attempt at using watercolors, so I am surprised you guys liked it. I will try to get more stuff up in the coming months once school is out. Thanks again.

Your design sense seems really nice, but your perspectives feel really wonky.

I think that's one of the main reasons why I like #4 the best, because the perspective is wonky. That and the line quality. I see what you mean in all of them (of the 4 directly posted), but to me it feels intentional, like a caricature, and I think it adds to them.

If that's what he intended, then fine, but it feels wonky to me.

I am not quite sure how you can get a feel for my perspective skills from those pictures, except for the first one, where I made you see the tops of the posts to make the fence feel like its leaning. If you are referring to the girl with the devil, his horns are curling, and I put the one in the back to make it more obvious that he has 2 horns. Please enlighten me on which ones have perspective problems, because I am not sure how you can come to that judgment.

Oh boy! Defensive McDefensive. It wasn't really a criticism. I can't really draw worth damn.

Yes, the fence is one point, also that characters face.

It seems like you want those pugs eyes to be kept in his skull, but they look like they're just floating at the same level as the rolls. Also, his snout looks goofy.

The womans face in the last picture looks weird, but I guess technically it's okay. I'm not pulling out a ruler and ****.

Just the feelings I got from looking at your pictures ignore it or don't. Call me an idiot. Makes no difference to me.

I wasn't trying to come off as defensive, but I just couldn't see how you could have came to your conclusion, but now that you have explained yourself I understand. I didn't mean to sound like I can't take critique, I was just asking you to specify. Thanks though.

Re: Some Random Art Of Mine

My basic rule on the internets is that the people that tear your work apart are usually the ones that can't draw or wont post their own work for review.

That being said, the fence posts do have a bit of a intense perspective thing happening there, but it did not jump out that badly, plus being a children's book like picture people often break rules of perspective to give it a more skewed view of the world around the child.
