Yes I think I'm begining to understand why the console RPGMs are "old news" for enterbrain. Take a look at rmxp.org, it's like 10x more active than this site. What a shame...

It's not a very comprehensive poll. For example, I NEVER played a new RPGM2 game, because my PS2 has been giving me Disc Read Errors on RPGM2 since long before I really got into the Pav.

There's still a decent audience for RPGM2 games, if they're really good. Spheer, for example, has gotten a nice bit of play. The audience is definitely smaller than for premier RPGM1/3 games, but if you do a good job, you should get a few dozen plays, at least.

i still play rpg maker games when they come out, though mostly after ive read a review or seen a score on how it did. if ive been following the development forum for a particular game i will play that game also.

im a picky player so if i get bored or stuck i will shut it off rather then spend hours looking for a solution. i havent even touched any other maker yet.
