Another Bottled Water Topic

A few weeks back, a friend of mine had gone to Sheetz, and in his bag were four 1-liter bottles of this "Voss Artesian Water. Described as a water that is naturally pure, low in minerals, and incomparable in taste, this friend intrigued me to finally try out this water and see if it was the real deal. Frankly, folks, I was utterly disappointed. You know that feeling you get when you're downing your favorite water, whether it be Daisani or Aquafina, and it has a certain zing, a satisfying flavor to it, even though it's not really flavored water. This Voss was cold, yes, and it did quench my thirst, but I was not satisfied with the taste. It's certainly incomparable...because I've had better water than this. So, for the time being, I'm sticking with either Pure Life or Sam's Choice. Voss, you had a shot, but, you did not impress me.

Does anyone else notice that Aquafina has a rather disgusting aftertaste?

I stay away from most bottled water because it all tastes sterile and leaves a funky aftertaste.

I buy bottled water on very rare occasions (long bike rides) but then I take the empty bottle home, wash it, refill it, and use it again. and it tastes exactly the same was whatever brand of water was in there before.

Same here, I see no reason to buy bottled water when 80% of it comes from city water sources, like all of Aquafina and Desani.

The tap water isn't bad here. We've got a big jug in the fridge but when I drink bottled I drink Evian. I like it because its not glorified tap water and it comes from French Alps so I feel I get what I paid for.

I prefer Dasani if I drink bottled water, but I can drink tap water.

Then again, at work we have a water cooler service, so I suppose I drink a whole lot of bottled water. >_>
