Ok, so I need help with connecting multiple consoles to a TV. Can anyone help?

A long time ago, I bought this black box. It had two sets of inputs for A/V, so I could hook up two consoles to the same TV, all I had to do was change channels. It was great(except I would get shocked if I touched the metal parts, I HATE STATIC ELECTRICITY!). I used it for my N64 and PS. Good times were had.

But I have no clue what that thing was, I had it like, 8 years ago.

So, it'd be great if some could help me with general terms/links for an adapter with multiple console inputs, specifically for PS3 and Wii, and possibly the 360 in the future.

There are a ton of products out there for stuff like this.

An example would be like this:

You're talking about an AV switchbox, I believe.

I used to have one that connected 6 devices at once, but it broke, and I now have a bunch of cables dangling next to my TV and I just swap those as needed.

OMG, that's it! Thanks a lot.

I have to switch consoles alot, so this will come in very handy.

Check Radio Shack. They usually have all sorts of adaptors and stuff like this. Probably want a box with a switch on it where you just flip the switch for a different console.

You should see my setup. I've got two switch boxes for coaxial connections that have 5 inputs and 2 outputs, then I have one AV switchbox with 4 inputs and 2 outputs. So after I get everything hooked up, you can play any of the 11 or 12 consoles that I have on either one of my two TV's, or you could play one console on both TV's. It's pretty spiffy.

They still tend not to have enough of the high-end stuff, or just one of everything, and switchers are still useful.

I have the one JPS has, and it works great. Unfortunately, since i use HDMI for my PS3, and SVideo for the DC, and Component for the 360 and Wii, i still have to switch TV inputs, but i dont mind, as long as i can play my games in hidef and stuff.

But THOSE costs hundreds of dollars! Plus I'd have to get up and change the channel! Who has energy for THAT anymore!?
