Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanimo Bay

So, who's looking forward to this upcoming sequel?
I thought the first movie was pretty funny, so I'm gonna check this one out.

As always, I'll probably watch it on thursday.

It's probably not gonna be as great as the first one, but who knows?

    What does everyone else think?

Not interested in the slightest. Saw the first one and thought it was just another stoner movie. If I want to watch a stoner movie I will stick with my Cheech and Chong.

          Another H&K?

          SWEET.

I thought the first one was a train wreck, but a good train wreck. I'm gonna look out for this on netflix in 3 months.

I consider the first one a guilty a pleasure, I'll wait to see the second one on DVD to see if thats the same.

The best part working at New Line was watching the first movie on company time.

That said, I don't really care about this one because I was surrounded by it during my time there.

I really dislike "stoner" movies for the most part. When I used to partake, I'd watch mindf*** films for the most part....I was never big into comedies, high or sober, and would rather watch something that made me engage my brain and really THINK while under the influence (yes....I admit my pretentiousness).

That being said, I thought Friday was okay, and I actually really enjoyed the 2/3rds of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle that I managed to see. Obviously, I've never had the experience that they did, but damn....there really IS something to be said for a 2 in the morning quest for sliders while buzzed (or under the influence of any various substances).

Well, I'm off to see it tonight at midnight.

I'll post my impressions of the movie here.

if any of the themes or humor from the first movie carry over into this one (which I'm sure they will), I'll love it.

                            You just might.

Watched it and found it very enjoyable.

Another strange journey with Harold and Kumar.

Stay after the credits for a bonus scene.
                            Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

I tend to just hit YouTube after a movie to see if there were any extra scenes after the credits, because I'm not gonna sit there for 10 minutes unless I've got friends with me, and that never happens anymore. D=

Edit: The POINT of the topic. Right.

Totally want to watch this, but I doubt I'll see it in theaters.
