Re: Okami for Wii tainted by IGN.
The pav needs a watermark so if IGN ever steals pictures from here again we'll be getting free publicity instead of just getting ganked.Last edited by DarkwingChuck; 04-20-2008, 12:01 PM.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Okami for Wii tainted by IGN.
Um, IGN cannot (and would not) sue. IGN's art was not "lifted". IGN's watermarked reposting of a capcom's own art was used, rather than the cover artist finding the original art.
nothing illegal happened here. IGN isnt going to complain about free advertising on the cover of a game. This really isnt any different from Konami sticking real game mags in their Metal Gear Solid games, although this case was an accident.Last edited by Valkysas; 04-20-2008, 12:26 PM.

What's with you and sueing eh?Originally posted by Karr Lord of Chaos View Postwith the water mark clearly on the cover, i am guessing ign could sue since its art was lifted. that is a pretty bad **** up though. the art designer is toast.
But really, it's their artwork. They, just like not putting any extra features in, are just lazy and didn't feel the need to get their own art.
EDIT: fump fump fump Valk beat me to it by seconds.Last edited by Red Dragon; 04-20-2008, 12:27 PM.

Re: Okami for Wii tainted by IGN.
not putting new features in wasnt laziness. it was a decision they made. If anyone was going to add new content to the game, it should be the people who made the game. but no one from clover is still at capcom, so they didnt add anything.Last edited by Valkysas; 04-20-2008, 12:35 PM.

Re: Okami for Wii tainted by IGN.
For God's sake, there's only one endless cut scene in the game.
I guess it doesn't help that it's right in the beginning though.
I think Denethor might've said that he thought it was better than Twilight Princess. I'm starting to agree.
The people of Nippon are just so much more endearing than the denizens of Hyrule.
P.S. Wasn't it Valk who expected the brush controls on the Wii to be lousy? Brushes are supposed to have traction. You don't get that if you're painting in mid-air.Last edited by Kefka Jr.; 04-20-2008, 01:02 PM.
