I understand that a lot of people do not like this game, but a lot of people do. Only reason I've been playing it lately was due to a lack of any other entertainment. So I'm wondering if anyone else actually plays this game?

While I agree with that statement, I've put too much time into the game to stop playing.

That and Runescape really isn't that free anyway. Most of the good stuff has to be paid for these days.

Not a bad game, and I occasionally return to it every now and then because of the time I've invested, but the free game gets boring after a while.

I played it for a little while (a long time ago) and didn't like it much. Felt like a poor man's EverQuest. With so many good video games to play (and especially with Guild Wars and Spectromancer to take up my online gaming time), I personally have no reason to go for Runescape.

I... used to play. Then I stopped. And started up again. But then I found my membership had expired. And I couldn't put any more stuff in the bank, cause it had like... probably twice the amount free players could put in. So all I can do is mine and smelt. Again. And again.

dial-up not to mention i have a couple friends who play so its pretty fun.
