Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates

So has anyone managed to pick this up?

I got enough money to buy it the other day and man am I loving it. There are quite a lot of things to do.

My only gripe is you basicly have to touch the touch screen with your thumb to play the game on default controls, which I hate doing. Other than that its probably my favorite DS game out.

The AI isn't the greatest on singleplayer, but you can pretty much do it by yourself if you want. Though I hear multiplayer is really fun, and you also get to pick your class and race on multiplayer. Good news is, you can play multiplayer mode by yourself if you don't have anyone else so you could level up and find new items.

I was actually surprised by the depth of the game. Not only do you have to find materials to create items, but when creating them you can socket gems in them to give them more upgrades. As well as mixing things together for alchemy and gaining new skills as your character progresses. All the armor and weapons show up on the characters and it even has some voice acting in some sequences. The story isn't too bad, and I can gladly say it is the first hand held game that I have been able to play for 5 hours straight without putting it down or getting bored of it. It plays better than most console rpgs.

I wish that the co-op mode was Wifi, but oh well, at least they allow us to play by ourselves because multiplayer mode offers different stuff than singleplayer and vise-versa.
