    The Forbidden Kingdom

So, who else is excited about this movie?

Of course the whole entire selling point is Jackie Chan and Jet Li
in their first collaboration movie, ever. Mix in fights choreographed
by Yuen Wo Ping and I think we might just have an awesome movie.

I'm gonna try and see the advanced screening at my theatre and post
    my opinion here.

I'm as excited as a crack addict drinking a mountain dew!

I kind of imagine a crack addict would be forlorn over drinking a Mountain Dew, cause caffeine isn't as powerful as crack.

Crack addicts aren't usually high, though. They're always trying to get high, but once you're an addict, you need the **** just to feel normal.

              Touche...

I'm as excited as a child in a candy store. Does that work?

I could continue on in my heckling way, but it would be too much like spam.

I'll watch this movie because not a month before I heard it was getting made I was discussing the fact that Li and Chan had never been in a movie together, and how it was really odd. So I feel obliged to see it now that it's happened.

I like Jackie Chan, but Jet Li's movies are an abomination. Bruce Lee is rolling in his grave in the knowledge of what Jet Li has done to martial arts movies. Bruce Lee worked himself to death, literally, inorder to banish the idea that martial arts are like magic. What do we see in Jet Li movies? People bouncing off the water by using their swords like pogo sticks! Thats what!

I wanna see it because of the lady with the crazy white hair, thats it. She does magic with it! Or something...

You might want to watch "Fist of Legend".

That has got to be Jet Li's best movie. "Fearless" is also another good one.
And let's not forget "Once upon a Time in China" series (1-3 at least).

Jet Li might not have the tough skin of Jackie Chan, but he has done many
movies with very good fight choreography, in my opinion.

                      Re: The Forbidden Kingdom

The only movie of Jet Li's that I can tolerate is "The One," because they offer an explanation to his magic. Its hard to deny you'd have awesome skills if your body contained the life force of 63 people.

I have seen, and hated, the following Jet Li movies: Fearless, Unleashed, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, The Enforcer.

Oh wait, I just remembered "Kiss of the Dragon." Liked that one, cause there wasn't any magic.

                        Fearless didn't have any magic.

Just watch Fist of Legend, and you'll probably like Jet Li.

Perhaps, but more likely I'll just not hate him, or hate him less.

My little brother likes him, atleast "The One" is one of his favorite movies.

I'm a pretty big Jackie Chan fan.
His movies are pretty cool. I haven't seen him in many martial arts movies, although I'm sure there is many.
