Does anyone else get a kick out of seeing ugly couples in public? It's nice to see that ugly people too, can find happiness with someone just as hideous and socially awkard as them.

I like seeing couples that give off a sense of stability, love, or care through their body language and facial expressions, regardless of attractiveness. I'd much rather be surrounded by functioning "ugly" pairings than, say, D-bags and their vapid talking fleshlights. -- (Nah, some of those girls are attractive, but most look trashy to me. Though, I'll admit you can't really tell just by a photo how seriously someone takes themselves.)

This always baffles me. When you see someone really attractive with someone who is obviously not in their "league".

What'd they do to get her/him? Bribe them with money? Use chloroform?

Psychologically, obviously, people are inclined to date those that they perceive to be on the same level of attractiveness as themselves, but -- and I know this is a crazy thought -- maybe some people can see beyond physical appearances. It's that, or we could just say that the good-looking person has a poor self image and the less-attractive person has an inflated self image.

In any case, I can't help but think that it's a little ironic that this conversation is being had by a bunch of guys on an internet message board about RPG Maker.

The real case is that something appeals to them that you just don't see. Could be a great personality, money, a huge penis...stuff like that.

Personally, I've had people tell me that I could do better and was the hot part of a hot/ugly couple (I've been told this quite a few times)...I really disagree. When it comes to my boyfriend, most people see a blonde black guy who isn't black w/ a lazy eye. I see a guy with a sexy browline, a VERY nice body, and a great posterior.

So yeah, truth is you just aren't seeing the whole picture. People don't get into a relationship as a charity case, and if they are, they shouldn't be (i.e. they're getting something out of the relationship that they value).
