            Will Smith SPECIFICALLY told that ***** not to drive to his home until it was daylight when the freaks were hiding so as not to let them know where he lives. She does it anyway, AND eats his bacon that he was saving!

                  book is a seminal work of horror

                  movie is meh

                  VERDICT PASSED

                  To elaborate: the movie had so little in common with the book that I wish they had simply called it something else on the off chance that someone could come along and actually make the book into a film.

                    That scene pretty much killed anything the movie was trying to do, then they had to go and destroy the entire ending so they could make a sequel. Awful.

                      I acutally would've liked it way better if it was just Will Smith and his dog.

                      No conflict or anything. Just them running errands around the city. Hunting deer in sports cars. Going into dark places sometimes.

                      Talking about Shaq's retirement.
