Oh Microsoft, stealing ideas once again...

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/nf/20080408/tc_nf/59164

MTV News reported Microsoft will soon launch a Wii controller clone for the Xbox 360. It's part of a reported strategy to cash in on Nintendo's market differentiation.
I'm sure it won't be long before sony hops on board too...

This controller could make cross platform development with the Wii a lot more feasible. But as far as input devices go, a lot of times, the required inputs to play games get in the way of accessibility. Many next-gen hits for the 360 require above average dexterity and long-term, intuitive knowledge of the entire controller.

thats how most business works. one person invents a successful product, then a bunch of other companies copy that product and alter it slightly and sell it usually cheaper.

                  cheaper?

have you seen what microsoft charges for 360 accessories?

100 dollars for a wifi reciever that every other system on the market today has built-in, including the $130 DS.

read what i wrote again, i was being general, hence why i said businesses/companies rather then saying microsoft.

Doesn't this belong in the video games section? Either way, whatever

Also, I was expecting this earlier, honestly.

In some ways Microsoft has a better lineup for casual gamers than Wii does.

This is Microsoft's business strategy, just like when they created IE as a copy of Navigator.

I HATE MICROSOFT.... in gaming.... I just don't like their copycat antics. They are rustling up Sony and Nintendo, and I won't stand for it. This just gets worse and worse. I believe it's a testament of what happens here. Success + Fame = People riding on your coatails and stealing your ideas...
