Well apparently he's been on the verge for awhile now.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

He probably agreed with his ideals. Raving racist gun-nut or not I don't think Charlton Heston ever ran around saying black people shouldn't be allowed to vote or live in freedom. It is not that much of a stretch considering his own views on people's freedom to own a gun being controversial to a lot of people as well.Comment
