We been in a downward slump. we hit 20,000 unique visitors a day for the week RPGM3 was released, then it went back to around 12,000, shot up to around 16,000 the days before and after christmas, and is currently at around 8,000, and dropping somewhat steadily.

its to be expected, with no new installment due any time soon.

It's not so bad. Look at it this way: Monster Rancher Metropolis is home to the official MR community and a super research database (Many of the members are middle-aged) with more data than any site on the internet, and yet a year or so after a game's release, if no game mechanic research is being conducted, it becomes a wasteland.

we're pretty used to this cycle by now. happens all the time. luckily, I've got ideas to keep the pavilion busy during the down periods.

I bet things would jump back up a bit if one was at least announced.

Enterbrain doesnt announce anything until it's damn near finished, so unless agetec's going ahead with that new version of 2 they wanted to do, we're likely not going to be hearing about any new installments this year.

Well, that's...disappointing. Though, it gives RPGM2 yet more time to get kick-awesome games on it before something comes out that makes it look like child's play.
