Hey Mom, I'm Goin Out To Close An Oblivion Gate.

My friend has shown an act of kindness and bestowed upon me Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I have encountered such a game before on the 360 and reached level 10. I now have the PS3 version with high-quality graphics. There is much to explore in this game. I am a simple Level 2 Argonian, or fish guy. I wander the streets and fight in the arena.

But seriously, I NEEDS FUN STUFF TO DOOO. Not side-quests, not the main quests, just original junk to do. Like stealing books and resisting the Law.

        argonians are not fish.

first suggestion, if you don't care about being an ass, murder one of the imperial soldiers that patrol outside the imperial city. they're really easy if you slide the difficulty slider in options all the way down. take their armor and weapons, and you can now take a lot more punishment than before. if you get busted by the other guards, they wont take the armor and weapons when they make you pay a fine or go to jail.

if you want money FAST, buy two or more of the same magic scrolls from the mystic emporium in the imperial city. in your menu, select the scroll twice, then without leaving the menu, go to an item and press square to drop it (only works if you are only holding one of the item you drop). you will then glitch-tastically drop an amount of that item equal to the number of the magic scroll you selected. if you have two of the same scrolls, you will drop two of the item. if you have four scrolls, you will drop four of the item. just make sure you don't accidentally use your scrolls you're using for duplication.

pick up one of the dropped items, and repeat.

this doesnt work on all items, but it works on most. easy way to rack up money.

also an easy way to flood an area with watermelons if you have a hundred or so of one scroll. you can't even see the pond in anvil in my game any more, there's so many damn watermelons.

its fun to run across the watermelon pond.

also, shivering isles is available from the playstation store for 30 dollars. very much worth it. sheogorath is awesome.

for any info on the game you need, head to uesp.net

Sounds good. Even if the Argonians are not fish, I just like calling them fish.

And I found it strange that a game like Oblivion had a difficulty setting. Since the game is so big.

            I editeded above post thing.

also, paintbrushes when dropped, do not fall. they float. you can stand on them. you can drop them to form a paintbrush stairway to the heavens.

My copy of oblivion for PS3, as I have said in the past, no longer works.

although I think I may have taken a photo of the pond before, so I will look for it.

Is it Oblivion, or an issue with your PS3? You should try renting oblivion, see if it works.

I dont have the money to rent it right now.

I'm pretty sure it's my copy of oblivion, Armored Core 4 runs fine.

I'm just gonna get the PC version, I think.

I think that's a good idea, I have the PC version, and I love it. I had to upgrade my PC to run it, but it was worth it. Here are my specs for comparison:

Just be careful and make sure you don't end up with a level 20 Master Jumper. You can really screw yourself in Oblivion if you pick and train the wrong skills. Just make sure your combat skills are going up enough each time you level.

Re: Hey Mom, I'm Goin Out To Close An Oblivion Gate.

I recently picked Oblivion back up and love it. It's fun being bad!

Duel, if you want to be naughty and evil and stuff, join the thieves guild. I had a blast doing that quest line and now that my sneak skill is up to 100 I can pretty much get away with anything right under people's noses. I even broke into the elder council chamber and pickpocketed the key to the imperial palace off of the chancellor guy. XD

Also, if you murder somebody and text appears telling you that your act has been observed by unseen forces, just find a place to sleep and the dark brotherhood (assassins guild) will come to you. THAT quest chain is even more fun. Especially the one called "The Lonely Wanderer." You'll love that one.

Before I was any good at stealing or killing, though, I liked to just walk into stores and start punching the merchandise off the shelves. The storekeepers don't even care, so long as you're not taking anything. I leave all the shops in ruins.

Edit: Does anyone know if there is a duplication glitch in the PC version?

OH!! Duel, also, why don't see if there's a door glitch in the PS3 version? Kill somebody and slam their body in a door and see what happens. >_>

Finally, here's a screenshot just for fun. Silly Glarthir, don't lie in the road!
Yes, he landed that way when I shot him!
