The RPG Maker Pavilion will recieve a graphical overhaul tomorrow night. it was supposed to go up the 18th, but we were kind of dead that day. this next announcement was supposed to go up that day too.
RPG Maker Group Projects
The Group Projects will be replacing contests here at the Pavilion. That means the contest ending on september 18th will be the last one we hold for quite a while. We've had a lot of them lately, and we're all kind of burnt out from them. so lets do something fun.
For the Group Projects, a member of the pavilion staff will present a fun idea for people to use to make a game. the game can be on any RPG Maker title, and since this isnt a competition, feel free to have fun with it. Games made in the group projects will be heavily promoted both on-site and off. Just remember, this isnt a competition, no prize will be given, we will not judge these games. they also have no designated end date. we'll toss out a new group project every few months.
Group Project #1
Due to the recently revived trend of lawyers and media blaming video games for everything that goes wrong, it's time for the gaming community to strike back. the goal of this project is to create games featuring celebrity reporters and as many rediculous and absurd culturally frowned-upon behaviors as possible. As long as the game can be viewed as a giant, flaming attack at the national news corporations, it's good. Basically, we want to shove all the crap we've gotten over the years back at the news corporations
You can also turn it around and take their stereotypes as suggestions and do something like the staff of Rockstar planning and organizing school shootings and selling drugs to children.
