...and I have a paper due tomorrow, no joke. However, I actually went straight to the Hopwood lab after my last class and worked on it for nearly 2 1/2 hours. Talk about determination, eh? It's usually about this time where I start working on it, and then I fall asleep at 2 or 3 in the morning, only to get 5 to 6 hours of sleep before my next class. It will never ever happen again, this I swear!

*ahem* So anyway, April 1st. Is anyone getting fooled? I certainly hope not, or it could end up like that time last year when Adult Swim showed the Aqua Teen movie and Engrish subs of Perfect Hair forever. *end rant*

I've just had one of the most stressful weeks at work, all because some asshole decided to play an early April Fool's joke on me.

My store manager and Operations manager are both going to other stores, and that was a sucker punch in the stomach for me, especially since one manager was my favourite. When I found out, I texted all of my associates to inform them.

One text me back saying, "I don't know how to tell you this, but I am going with Rob to Curity (his new store)".

Normally I wouldn't believe him, but 2 days prior, that manager pulled that associate away from the desk in a very sly, incognito kinda way when I was there. I thought he was trying to move him to seasonal for the summer as they've asked me to transfer him before, and I refused. This one associate is my only full timer and my back up for when I go on vacation for 3 weeks.

Anyway, I replied to his message with "You tell me to my face, not through a goddam text message" and he casually replied, "Okay, next time I see you". I said the damage was done, and he asked if I was mad. I texted "I'm frustrated. I should be happy for your promotion, but NO ONE had the tenacity to tell me to my face."

I avoided this ass hole for 3 days, freaking out over how screwed I was, losing the one person who knows the job. I approached the HR manager and he said he hadn't heard about it. The next day he informed me that he had talked to the manager that was leaving, and HE didn't know anything about it, and thought it was a joke.

Turns out it was. I was livid. Reeling. ******.

So I had the HR manager print up the transfer paper, called this ass upstairs, and said I was happy to grant him the trnasfer he requested through text as I was getting a transfer in to replace him.

I had him going for 10 minutes, just gawking at the paper.

I still don't think he understands how much stress he cause stirring this **** up.
