UK YouTube Rick Rolls users. (April Fools?)

Right now, if you click any of the featured videos, it links directly to Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up.

Must be some sort of April Fools joke that they implemented too early or something. The whole "Rick Roll" thing got old to me after a while, but I find this hilarious that YouTube has jumped on the bandwagon, if only for a day.

Edit: The username is "YTRickRollsYou" but it says it was added 1 week ago on March 25th, 2008. The first comment was 7 hours ago though. Not sure exactly what this is then.

Re-Edit: Apparantly this is only on http://uk.youtube.com/

Are you clicking the promoted videos at the VERY top, or the ones a tad lower that say Featured Videos?

Ok, ignore me. Apparantly at some point in time my YouTube account had the site changed to http://uk.youtube.com/ instead of the regular one. So it's only on the UK one.

Heh. That's because it's April Fools over there! We now know what to expect.

            ..Or do we?

So THAT's what that song was called... thank you, UK YouTube, I now know how to find that song.

One less track to hunt down in my lifetime. Anyone care to help with the rest (just one, really... it's haunted me for years now)?

That actually explains most of it when you put it that way. Aside from it being added a week ago. Unless there's a way to hide videos from the search or from anyone finding it?

                  It had no views prior?

When I viewed it, there were only about 500 views. Currently there are like 65,000. Apparantly a few other youtubes have gotten it, and they're getting it as the dateline moves and makes it 4/1. I guess the "global" site is based on Eastern time, and I'll know in about 5 minutes if they'll get it, but the rest so far have been getting it too.

Apparently not, or else I'm clicking on the wrong thing.

I checked it out and it is on the US site now as well. The funny thing is no one seems to know that "rick-rolling" came from 4chan.

It's becomming as common as a Chuck ****** joke.

Wait, why is Chuck's last name censored?

Because making a ****** joke is stupid.

Promoted videos work, the ones below them go to rick roll though.
