It was a very interesting experience.
First, it involved hooking up the mess of wires required in the confines of Gwommy's purple Ford Probe. The A/V cables and power supply for the PS2 both needed adapters, and I didn't even know there was an adapter to play an inputted device on your DS.
The next challenge came from getting the guitar next to me in a playable position, which required me to play almost straight up and at a weird angle. After that, we got the game started and I couldn't read any words on the tiny screen but I knew exactly how to get to "Shout at the Devil" on quick play so I loaded that song.
The notes were painfully small and kinda blurry. Plus the DS was shifting back and forth on the dashboard and bumping up and down with each bump hit. I managed to BARELY pass it on expert. By that time my eyes were kinda sore.
So I decided to try something a little easier: Heart-Shaped Box. I tried putting the DS in my lap because I was getting some glare on the DS when it was on the dashboard. Despite the DS flying out of my lap twice I still managed to get four stars.
As far as I know I might be the only person that has ever tried this. I wish we could have taken pictures or a video, but we didn't have a camera. I might try it again for photo ops.
