    Looking for multiplayer games

I have access to a playstation 2 and a gamecube, as well as a multitap for the playstation 2. I'm looking for multiplayer games that allow 3 or 4 players to play. We have already played Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Champions of Norrath, and Return to Arms. The style of game isn't that important, but we would prefer adventure-styled games instead of action-styled games. Any games you can suggest, however, will be considered. Thanks in advance.

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. can't get more "adventure" themed than that.

    and welcome to the pavilion.

Tales of Symphonia has a great story and four-player battling. You can play on your own, too, however the other characters will be AI-controled. You can set their abilities, though. For some reason I cannot comprehend, the game's an aquired taste; a number of people love it and a number of people wish it never existed.

Although they don't match your criteria, the Winning Eleven series and Bomberman Generation/Jetters are fun multiplayer games.

Hands down, Gauntlet Dark Legends is my favorite (and only favorite) multiplayer game, not counting fighting games.

Gauntlet is fun for mindless X button mashing.

I concur that Gauntlet is great. If you like the Champion's series though, give Baldur's Gate a look. I think the first one allowed 4 players, but I know the second one did. It's very similar overall, though you might skip part one, it's a bare bones version of Champions:CTA. I heard that II was vastly improved in all aspects.

Took me 15 minutes to remember how to change my signature, and this is all I came up with.

A warning about Tales of Symphonia multiplayer.Only the main person can walk around and look at items. The other 3 players are only playing the fighting part. The fighting part goes to a battle area but is hack and slash once in this area.BTW-I have it and I've played it for 40 hours so far.Haven't even gotten to the 2nd disc yet......
