Edge vs. Undertaker sounds like it'll be horrible, neither can carry a match.

I hate Cena, HHH is getting old and Orton sucks too, but HHH and Cena can put on a good enough match to put Orton over I think.

I was pretty excited until I saw the price and I was like "Ya know, I really want to see this, but not that badly." Haven't been so excited for a PPV that I actually wanted to pay, before... Alas, I'm not made of money.

Wow, other wrestling fans here?

I can't stand WWE these days, and TNA isn't that much better(maybe worse, those announcers are godawful and they insist on keeping old farts like Kevin Nash and Sting around).

I think the straw that broke the camel's back was watching them turn ECW into the same lame bull**** that all of the other WWE programming is. Sure, hold a show at the Hammerstein Ballroom(one of the old ECW's biggest and best venues) with the main event being Big Show vs. Batista, a major slap in the face to fans of the original ECW. Now, let two of your biggest stars in RVD and Sabu walk, so you can put over douchebags like Johnny Nitro and Elijah Burke(not really anything against them as workers, but they couldn't hold RVD or Sabu's jocks, I do enjoy C.M. Punk however). Okay, now fire the creator of ECW himself, Paul E. Heyman, why not? You already bought his company...

As you can see, I'm still bitter over all that. That, and the fact that The Great Khali, possibly the worst wrestler ever to hold a WWE contract, was the world champion is simply unforgivable.

I've been watching wrestling a bit more these days, since I'm able to watch television again, but I'm always so ****ing bored watching RAW(and I avoid Smackdown on general principle). It's all crappy backstage antics, and maybe five mintues of wrestling, interference, bad squash matches(while I'm at it, Umaga is one boring mother****er), and Diva matches which are even worse. Most of these girls can't wrestle for ****, and if I want eye candy, I'll just cut the middleman and watch some porn. Really.

EDIT: I just read Mick Foley's The Hardcore Diaries this week, and I am further convinced that Vince is losing his mind, I hated how he treated Mick during that time.

That's what bothers me about the WWE. It's all about whether or not wrestlers have "the look". It's a travesty, because there are so many awesome and talented wrestlers, like "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Jerry Lynn, Steve Corino, Justin Credible, etc. who don't even get a chance because of this crap.

Oh, there's no doubt that some of these girls have stepped up and tried to improve themselves. I didn't mind female wrestling back in the days of pre-implants Alundra Blayze(Madusa in WCW) and others like Luna Vachon, Jazz, Lita, even Chyna(because she held her own against the men as well). Hell, Trish Stratus was a hell of a wrestler by the end of her career. It's just that, generally, their collective move repertoire sucks.

I grew up a huge fan of technical wrestlers like Bret "Hitman" Hart, and later on, Taz(my wrestling hero, I refuse to add the second 'z' because that's just dumb). I guess these girls just don't provide the type of wrestling I prefer.

I feel about the same way, man. Jerry Lynn was quite the athelete and he never got the time of day. That Somoa Joe is something else. When I see him I see a big man then... Jesus Christ he just did a drop kick... Now he is flying through the air. OMG! Is he actually an over inflated balloon?

As for the undertaker, c'mon you know the entire match is gonna be 60% rest holds because he's so old! I mean I always love seeing his overblown entrances at wrestlemania but once the bell rings? Forget it.

I'm sick of john cena and his gigantic jaw, but the kids love him. I DON'T KNOW WHY.

Oh, since you guys watch wrestling, could someone know this wrestler that used to freak me out? It was the WWF around the time where they were on ALL THE TIME and had WWF Superstars/Livewire on Saturdays in addition to RAW and stuff. It was this guy who had a cross on his forehead and a horseshoe haircut that was long. I remember him wearing like white slacks and loafers when he wreslted and maybe a hawiian shirt? His special was some sort of sleeper hold and he had this like tranquil music when he won matches. He totally creeped me out. Anyone remember who he was?
