I just watched the eighties anime movie Akira, and man, I gata say, that movie has better animation than a lot of animes today!! It was really impressive during the psychic power scenes! But I have a question: What exactly happened at the ending (the last ten or so minutes of the movie). I just don't understand...

Tetsuo's psychic powers grew to the point that he created a new universe for himself. Some of it is sort of hinted at during that monologue that the main romantic interest has partway through the movie.

Umm..okay, thankx for explaining! I sorta understand it better now ^_^ I heard they are making a live action adaption to the anime that is scheduled for a 2009 release! What I am lookin forward to more, though, is the supposed Dragonball Z live action movie! (Is this just an ongoing rumor?)

The DBZ movie is shooting but its release just recently got pushed back.

Yes, it is inevitable that, if said live action DBZ movie were to come out, sleepy (in the theater) would be laughing his @ss off at whoever attempts to play Vegeta. I mean come on! Can you imagine the amount of hairgel it must take to maintain a hairstyle like that??

Actually filming wrapped up last week or so, and it takes place before the Saiyan saga.
