Question about Wii and GameCube

So if GC games are backwards compatible does that mean any data I had on the memory card is poop now? I dont see any slots for a memory card.

This means I'll have to start Animal Crossing over

On the contrary, there are two slots for GC memory cards under a flap at the top of the console (when on the vertical stand), as well as four GC controller slots.

Would it be ok for me to place the console on its side like that while playing? Kinda odd having a port coming off the top like that.

Sure, you can place it on the side like in the picture and it'll work just fine. It even has rubber legs to accommodate it.

It probably would not be a bad idea to start Animal Crossing over again, anyway, as most likely your town has been overrun by weeds, and your house is full of roaches.

Im debating on that, as Im getting tired of the same people and layout everytime I play.
