    DS lite screen protectors

    So I bought some off ebay, and it turns out they're fakes. -_-

    I tried to go through play-asia, but they are sold out. So I took a gamble, and ended up with nothing useful. I'm in the process of getting my money back, but I need to find another screen protector that doesn't suck and won't ruin my screen.

    Does anyone know of a suitable alternative to the official HORI type? I've read a lot of recommendations, but I want to hear from you guys.

    Why someone would spend this much time faking a product that is sold for a few bucks is beyond me.

        ah, trying to find a way around the stab marks.

        There's really no substitute for the Hori ones. every other screen protector messes up the sensitivity of the touch screen from what I've heard.

          It's mostly due to the "spinners" in the games. Sometimes I use the DS while riding the stinkbox, which doesn't help.

          Before I played Ouendan, my screen was pretty much pristine. Oh well, it was worth it.

          I guess I'm boned on the HORI protectors. What a drag.

                Ahhh, yeah, Elite Beat Agents makes you do a lot of stuff that other games don't that'll damage the screen. My condolensces.

                    From what Ive seen 2 pieces are like...$10, and if that game is as crazy as you guys make it out to be, youll be spending more on SP's then what you paid for the game.

                        Because I can't find any legit ones right now. The links explain why it can be a difficult task.

                        JPS, I don't think you need to replace them that often. I would only need one for the lower screen... since like... that's the only touch screen. I'm not sure why anyone would use a protector for the top screen. :P

                          Hori's US page says you can get them at Walmart.com, Frys.com, J&R.com, Overstock.com, and Buy.com for $6.99.

                            I just saw a pack of two for $9.99 and used that as an example
