    Another question from a hypochondriac

Every once in a while I'll get a surge or sensation in the middle of my chest and it'll shoot down both of my arms. It kinda hurts, but not really...it's just weird. Anyone know what this is?

I bet a qualified medical practitioner could tell you. I also bet no one who frequents this site is one.

Occasionally, I have a similar sensation, but myself also being a hypochondriac I rule it off as me overreacting. Probably should get that checked out, though.

Would it be the same Kire if he didn't ask us for serious medical advice and go on crazy get thin quick schemes?

Start keeping track of when this happens, how frequently, what you're doing at the time, etc. If the frequency or intensity seems to be increasing, I'd suggest seeking medical advice from a doctor, and your notes may help make an accurate diagnosis.

If insurance isn't an issue, though, you might want to see a doctor even if it doesn't appear to be getting worse. Probably nothing serious, but then again I don't have an MD.

Exactly. Even if we were right and the fact that most qualified doctors don't know what the **** they're talking about would tell you otherwise, you should never listen to us because we don't have TEH PAPAHS. Always listen to your doctor.

Just take two tylenols and call us in the morning.

I've had those, my friends have had those, it's no big deal. It seems to happen when sitting hunched over doing something for a long while (like drawing or computering).

considering this happened in the middle of work, yeah, that fits the bill.

If I get it any more, yeah, I'll see someone.
