    PS3 owners...a little help, please (sorta RPGM-related)

I have a week of vacation ahead of me, and I really want to work on some ongoing RPGM3 projects. I'd prefer to do this on my PS3 so I do not have to reconnect my PS2 if possible. But I'm afraid to invest a good amount of time in a game, only to find I am not able to transfer it back to PS2 format. So here's where I need your help.

I've asked around about transferring PS3 virtual memory card saves back to PS2 memory cards, and I've received conflicting answers on if this was possible. So I need someone with a transfer cable, a PS3, a PS2 memory card, and a PS2 to put any PS2 game (RPGM preferred) into the PS3, create a new save file on a virtual memory card, plug the transfer cable in, transfer that game save to a PS2 memory card, then plug the memory card into the PS2, boot up that same game in the PS2, load up the game save, and see if it works.

I would appreciate any help on this, and thanks in advance.

You can transfer them to memory cards.

it wasnt possible at first, but there was a firmware update in the middle of last year that added the ability. I've done it myself several times already.

I thought that's what you had told me previously, Valk, but I'd asked other people, and they did not know. And originally, you had not specified if you had actually done it yourself, or if you just thought you could.

Anyway, thanks for the info. Now to start working on RPGM!

when moving a save to a card, just have a memory card inserted into the adapter, go to the save in the virtual memory card file, press triangle, and move it to the real memory card.
