Since every IDIOT here just LOOOVVEEDDD The Descent, I'm interested in seeing if any of you BONEHEADS will be going out to see the director's next film, which doesn't carry the critical acclaim of his last...mainly because it wasn't screened for critics.

Re: Doomsday
People actually liked The Descent? I mean, I watched it, but I got it from Netflix, and I'll watch damn near anything once. But it was horrid.
And I kinda wanna see Doomsday, but in a Netflix kinda way.Last edited by Big Rick Cook; 03-15-2008, 09:59 AM. Reason: Re-worded something that made me sound dumb. DUR-HUR."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

Re: Doomsday
I got caught up in The Descent hype, and bought it from Blockbuster as a PVT for like $6 or something. The first time I saw the commercial for this one, I thought they were doing a remake of The Warriors or something, or making a movie of the videogame version of The Warriors. Then I saw it was by the director of The Descent, and I was interested in it for about 5 seconds. Then I was pretty meh.
Anyone see/like Strange Days? Highly underrated film, IMHO, even though the "twist" is kinda lame.Last edited by Perversion; 03-15-2008, 09:08 AM.

Let someone else do it. Homework comes first.Originally posted by John Mora View PostNo, that was Horton Hears a Who. By the way, shouldn't Bonanza be making a topic about that any day now?

Re: Doomsday
What I find distubing is that they lock these people behind a wall but then the trailer shows clips of them racing in the desert. Did they build the wall around a desert or do the people escape into the desert during the course of the movie?
I don't think a trailer should leave me with these kinds of questions. The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
