terrible. other then being the sperm donater, that about all he should be to these children.

then again, like BRC hinted, it could very well be a ploy by the other parent (?) to get back at the father maybe? the dead cat really is strong proof and i would very much doubt 9 year old would be into killing a kitten in such a manor then blaming it on their father in this way.

some people should never have children.

If the alleged crime took place as the article states, I think the father should be charged with animal cruelty and endangering the welfare of a minor (two counts). DCF should remove the children from his custody indefinitely with no visitation rights for at least the first two years of the termination of his parental rights (and only supervised visits after this). The children should be placed in therapy.

His punishment should be something to do with cats annoying the hell out of him. But then agian once he gets out that could be bad.
