Re: Through The Ages
Looks like they got every system released in America.
I have a subscription to British retro gaming magazine that's got a list of every console released in America, Europe, and Japan with a price guide and tips on buying. There was a super rare version of the MSX and a rare portable version of the Turbo Grafx released in limited quantities yet goes for a stupidly low price on ebay. I'll see if I can get my sister to scan it for you guys.Last edited by marcus; 03-14-2008, 08:24 AM.

Re: Through The Ages
WHAT ABOUT VITUAL BOY!?!? AND THE POWER GLOVE!?!?! Z0MG!!!!!!!111!!1!!2!!!!!@@@!
Seriously though they forgot the early "Wii Prototypes" (Virtual Boy and The Power Glove).
A wooden video game! I could just imagine some old fart: "Back in my day, Our video games were made a' wood!"

Re: Through The Ages
Virtual Boy isn't portable! It's a pair of goggles on a STAND with NO HEADSTRAP! If you wanted to make it portable you'd have to duct tape it to your head! Then you'd have a hard time getting it off and you'd look like an asshole because you'd have a giant red piece of **** strapped to your head!
And just because the power glove is a controller it still had it's own line of games which makes it like it's own system. And by the way it WAS a "Wii Prototype" sort of thing. It was the same exact concept!

Re: Through The Ages
the power glove did not have it's own line of games. some games were just programmed to support it better than normal games. no different than say, the steering wheel controllers available today. which are not their own systems.
I don't think you know what prototype means.

Re: Through The Ages
same concept does not make it a prototype. a prototype is the earliest version of a thing, that is used to create the final version of said thing. a prototype is never released as a finished product.Yes I know what prototype means!
I know that when The Power Glove came out the Wii was never thought of but like I said before they are the same concept!
the wii remote's prototype was shown off to the public. it looked a lot like the final wii remote, but it didnt have a speaker and the buttons were labeled differently.
if the power glove was the wii remote's prototype, the power glove would have never been released, and the wii remote would be mounted on a glove.
if two things sharing the same concept makes the earlier one a prototype, then every home video console ever is a wii prototype, since the wii is the newest console released, and they all share the came concept of playing games on a TV.Last edited by Valkysas; 03-14-2008, 01:47 PM.
