But a really bad move for the industry, as a creative entity, and as a whole.

They publish everything from GTA, and Bioshock, to the 2K sports games.

Buying them would nab them GTA and eliminating the competition in sports games.

Two major stockholders ditched a percentage of their Take-Two stock, and one shareholder filed a lawsuit against the company for not exploring EA's offer.

You can do that? Hell I still find hostile take overs far from being legal, but they are.

I doubt it, that's the risk you run when you go public, then you have to listen to your stockholders. However pretty soon people may be able to make a case against EA becoming a monopoly, but I'm sure they'll just end up like Microsoft. A small slap on the wrist and then no one cares anymore.
