I love that one clip with Bush where hes told by a reporter how expensive oil and gas will be by the end of the year, and he gets all "WHO TOLD YOU THAT! LOL THATS NOT TRUE! ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN!"
I'm pretty green. I live within walking distance of school, have friends to carpool with most anyplace else, and university students get to ride the city bus for free. So I take the bus to work, and I'm only late half the time!
About $3.20 a gallon for low-grade, I think. I drive an Accord which gets over 30mpg, and I end up taking the bus to campus since parking is impossible to find there, but I still feel like I'm getting absolutely burned on gasoline.
mass transit all the way. gas is like over a dollar a liter here, not worth buying even if you do own a car. its gotten to the point where you need to find something else to stick in the tank to make it go. if i ever get to the point where i need to buy gas, im going to buy a hybrid car or one totally energy efficient.
Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!
Card Three is released! You can find it here!
P.S. Total (100%) energy efficiency is a physical impossibility. Gasoline is something like 30% efficient, and solar panels are 18% at best. Fun fact, human metabolism of Glucose is 39% efficient, one of the most efficient reactions in nature
P.S.S. Hydrogen cars won't save anyone any money. The process of creating pure, gaseous hydrogen makes a 'gallon' of hydrogen about three fifty.
