Is your Wii haunted?

Anyone else have problems with their wii mysteriously powering on for no reason? Mine does it at least once a day...

If it was a PS3 I'd say turn off remote play.

Since it's a Wii, I'd say an exorcism might not be a bad idea. Either that or maybe there's a setting like remote play that's turning on your Wii whenever it gets a certain Wifi signal. Maybe you have to tinker with your WiiConnect24 settings.

Mine did that all of one time, and it was shortly after I first got it. Which was the week after it hit.

Mine's done this about 6 times so far. It stopped about 2 weeks ago so hopefully, yours will as well.

Yes actually, mine has done that. In fact something even more bizzare has happened. I had moved the Wii into my room from the living room, and had it turned off, when suddenly while I was in bed with all the lights off it suddenly turned on, glowed blue, then turned off. I was mystified, still haven't been able to explain what happened.

You mean when that blue light goes around the disc drive. Yeah that turns on when I sleep, and it lights up my whole freaking room. So I go unplug my Wii. I only play it like once every 2 weeks anyways.

You can turn off that blue light.

Can also turn off Wiiconnect so it doesn't do that when the Wii is "off".

I havent touched the Wii in about 4-5 days, Ive been busy judging maps and working.
