Weary of painting in uncomfortable positions, I bought this $180 easel for $70 online. It arrived in the mail today unscathed!
It is a French portable easel, which (surprisingly) means that it is the easel incarnation of a robot transformer.
It has rotating & telescoping legs, a frame that adjusts to any angle, a useful drawer, and the ability to fold up into a 16" x 22" box. I was thinking of paying my dad a visit in the workshop (the garage) so that we can add some customized enhancements, such as arms, all-terrain treads, rocket boosters and spikes.

While shopping around for easels, I found that there are more kinds of easels than there are military fighter jets. I may buy a bigger and better easel when I have more funds and living space, but this one will do everything I need it to for now.
Does anyone else own an easel? What should be the first thing I create using this easel?
