    Art Easel (Pictures)

Weary of painting in uncomfortable positions, I bought this $180 easel for $70 online. It arrived in the mail today unscathed!

It is a French portable easel, which (surprisingly) means that it is the easel incarnation of a robot transformer.

It has rotating & telescoping legs, a frame that adjusts to any angle, a useful drawer, and the ability to fold up into a 16" x 22" box. I was thinking of paying my dad a visit in the workshop (the garage) so that we can add some customized enhancements, such as arms, all-terrain treads, rocket boosters and spikes.

While shopping around for easels, I found that there are more kinds of easels than there are military fighter jets. I may buy a bigger and better easel when I have more funds and living space, but this one will do everything I need it to for now.

Does anyone else own an easel? What should be the first thing I create using this easel?

Thats a great buy, and a good looking easel, Ive always wanted one but I have no place to put one now, nor the time to do anything with it.

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

      Ooh, it's beautiful!

I suggest that you first use the easel by drawing up a blueprint for how you're going to mod it up with its rocket launchers, treads and spikes. Create an easelbot that shall be the envy of all Transformers!

Maybe you could interest your little ones in a kiddie-sized easel! It would take up less room and hopefully keep them occupied, giving you more time.

That's a superb suggestion! I somehow got this idea that I want to be able to win the Twisted Metal tournament with my easel mod. And also to win Optimus Prime's seal of approval!
