    Buffy & Angel comic books

So is anybody else reading Buffy Season 8 and Angel: After the Fall? I'm too big a fan of the shows not too but not so much that I'd pay for them. Anyway, I like the Buffy one. Some of the stuff they're doing is goofy (Giant Dawn?) but for the most part I could see it being episodes of the show. Angel, not so much. It all seems kinda random so far and doesn't make much sense. I can't imagine this is what the show would've been if it lasted another season.

Do you expect anything less than total expulsion of all men from Joss Whedon?

I started reading after the fall, but I don't know if I'll bother getting last month's issue or any more.

      it's kinda stupid.

I dunno. I hated the idea of continuing Angel, but After the Fall has surprised me. It's not as good as the series was, but it's very readable.

Buffy's alright, but part of me is annoyed that it's gone so far into the ridiculousness (i.e. giant Dawn). I know Whedon's exhalting in being free from budget worries, but I think the down-to-earthness of Buffy was one of its strengths.

            Buffy was down-to-earth?

Ill admit Buffy was a lot more "realistic" then a lot of **** sci-fi airs, but I see nothing down to earth about the whole concept of Buffy.

You guys watch too many chick-shows.
