    Max Drives n' Flash Drives

This is probably a dumb question, but forgive me for being technologically-impaired.

I'm aware that RPGM3 users who want to submit their games require a device known as a Max Drive. I'm going to assume that the Max Drive is plugged into the PS2's USB port.

And, on that assumption, I've come here asking if it also possible to use a normal Flash Drive. And when/if I do, how must I proceed to transfer the data onto said device?

My reason for asking is that I already own a flash drive, and, if it can be used instead, I'd rather not deal with the hassle of buying a Max Drive, as I know they're expensive.

Again, I apologize if this is neanderthalistic question.

You can use your flash drive. But you need to buy an AR MAX. Which if you don't know is a disc like a gameshark except it allows you to move memory onto a flash drive.

Depending if you're lucky enough to find JUST the disk. You'll pay about 30-50$ Candian. Well, When I got mine with the flash drive atatched it was 50$. The one without one was only 30$.

          WTF...

That's the same price as a Max Drive.

          You gotta be kiddin' me.

Oh well... I don't really need to worry about it `til my game's done, anyway.

          Thanks, though.
