I'm looking for a service, something I can rent out mp3s online of books that I can listen to on my mp3 player. Before you say "read a book," this is for when I'm doing my running (5 times a week at least for an hour). Audible looks like a good option at $7.50 a month for the first 3 months, but that's only 1 book a month...I'm looking at 20 hours of running time, so I don't know if that'll always cover me. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

Re: best audiobook rental?
I use Audible. I have the two credits per month deal for 30.00. I've been using it for about a year now. My only complaint is that sometimes their selection doesn't have what I'm looking for. I understand not every book ever written has produced but still... I refuse to believe that there's no reading of Watership Down, dang it.Last edited by Loki; 03-04-2008, 12:57 PM.

I havn't checked it out yet but my local library lets you download books. I'm not sure of the titles or wether or not you need a library card but check it out anyways and check out your own librarie's site.

Re: best audiobook rental?
I got a free trial from Audible, and I've been listening to Dune, because I've never read it, and figured it would be a good distraction. (I also listen while I'm at the gym) Oh, and it's, like, 21 hours long or something ridiculous like that. So, yeah, there ya go. Thank me later.
