For those of you who weren't here to know what Folklore was all about, allow me to explain a bit:
In 2006 a 13 episode internet series was filmed by myself and a few friends called Folklore. The plot line was mystery/suspense based and took a lot of inspiration from LOST. After the first season was done, we started work on the second.
And after about a year or so of work, we've finally finished. Folklore: Season 2 is ready and premieres this Wednesday, March 5th. It's a 12 episode season this time around, and a new episode premieres every Wednesday. The best part is, Season 2 is very stand-alone so if you didn't catch the first season, don't fear starting with the second. Not that you shouldn't watch them all, though.
I'll post links to the new episodes right here every week, so you won't have to remind yourself. But you can also find them, and every episode from Season 1, on the Folklore website: http://www.angelfire.com/games3/fnf/folklore.html
Or head to the Youtube playlists: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...EB8C431089B37F
For those of you that simply won't watch the first season, in the spoilers you can get a quick recap of the first season so you know exactly where you're at when you watch the second.
*** SPOILERS ***
A troubled teenager named Daniel is confronted by his dead stepfather one night after making a snack of chili. His stepfather reveals that he went to Hell after he died, and now Satan can bring him back to life if he finds his "Spiritual Obligation," or the object closest to him at the time of death. Daniel doesn't trust his stepfather, knows he has evil intentions, and instead destroys the Spiritual Obligation, thus sending his stepfather back to Hell. Immediately after the entire ordeal, Daniel commits suicide and is found by his stepfather's friend, Uncle David. And that's where Season 2 picks up.
*** END SPOILERS ***
Just as a little pump-up, here's some shots from the new season:
