I just got a handed down iPod with a bigger storage than my Shuffle, so I was trying to get some game music for it.
Now we've all been to OC Remix, possibly VGMix, and maybe even the Newgrounds Audio Portal. But are there any sites that a lot of people don't know about with decent quality MP3s of songs? Not the illegal uploaded OSTs, can't discuss that on the forum itself or anything like that.
I browsed OC a good while back, snagging up most of the good ones. Now they are far and few, having gone through almost their entire library of games I actually care for.
I don't remember much about VGMix, but I'd assume I got those too. It seemed better in the past, the newer site is nearly impossible to navigate through. Even the Audio Portal that I recently found has a better set up and that's not saying much. Only a handful I found there that I like.
Even though I've downloaded a good bit, what made me post here was this song on the NG Audio Portal: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/19127
It's not fantastic or anything special or even A+ stuff. But the idea of someone remixing that tune took me off guard. It was a song in Breath of Fire that I really enjoyed at the time, and I had completely forgotten about it until now, and wondering if anyone else remembers it.
Sites to share? Opinions? Links to some of the better remixes? Anything?
