So it won't include any of the PS2 Mega Man X games obviously.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
Words of MMXC producer, Robert Johnson, courtesy of Planet MegaMan:
"There will be no difference between the PS2 and GameCube versions of the game. We do know for fact that the game is being produced by a Capcom studio in Japan, and that the release of game will include a Japanese counterpart. A lot of the elements of the games are still in production, like the bonus features, but they have a lot of material to choose from.
There is expected to be some of remixed tunes from the games included in the soundtrack, and the possibility of the Mega Man X3 PSX version of the game being available is also under consideration. There's also confirmation of much better quality for the collection this time around. The release is expected in Fall of this year."
Yay! No Atomic Planet!
EDIT: Something else was mentioned regarding the possibility of MegaMan 9:
"We also decided to throw him a few questions concerning the possibility of Mega Man 9, to which he grinned and told us that in order for the fans voice to be heard in this matter, we need to continue emailing, writing, calling, telling Capcom how great classic Mega Man really is, in order to ensure a new Mega Man classic title. If any new Mega Man games are going to be made, even a new series, then it will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show."

Off-topic, but what were your favorite special-weapon colors for X? Mine were from MMX2, the weapon you got from Overdrive Ostrich(purple/orange), and in MMX3, Crush Catfish, or whatever(Red/black).
Wow, I already bought the first megaman collection, if I get this now I'll be on my way to the whole collection just need to start at X7. And dammit, why won't they make a Megaman Legends 3!?!?!?!?!?!?
