    Actors/actresses you detest

    Following the "Movies you abhor" thread, which in turn followed the "Horrible movies" thread, I decided to ask if there are any actresses or actors you just cannot stand, you abhor, detest, loathe, or maybe who just rubs you the wrong way.


    For me, it's Matthew McConaughey, Vince Vaughn, and Parker Posey.

    As I stated in another thread, my dislike of Vince Vaughn goes back to the Psycho remake. I've disliked Matthew McConaughey ever since I saw Contact in the theatre. And Parker Posey...I have nothing specific against her. I just do not like her. She rubs me the wrong way.

    I used to dislike Jim Carrey with a passion until I saw The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; and I STILL have a decently healthy dislike for Adam Sandler, but he is semi-redeemed in my eyes because of Punch-Drunk Love (the only reason I watched it in the first place is due to it being a Paul Thomas Anderson film).

            Angelina Jolie... Everyone says shes all hot and stuff but I think shes the most butt ugliest thing on the planet...

              Since seeing Amistad and A Time To Kill, Matthew McConaughey is one of those underdog actors I actually root for, like Kevin Bacon or Keanu Reeves.

              Unfortunatly unlike the latter two McConaughey seems to be content with being in the biggest pieces of **** ever committed to the big screen. Maybe he should go back to wrestling with african-american oppression.

              I don't really hate actors or actresses, though. Except for like...Owen Wilson or Jason Biggs (lol, who?)

                Russell Crowe is so god damned arrogant that I want to punch him every time I see him. Which is sad, because the ****ing guy can actually act. But Jesus, show some humility about it.

                        Actually now that I'm reminded of the whole Forrest Gump thing, post-Oscar Tom Hanks is pretty lame.

                        And Keanu's the best :3

                          In addition to being stupid, Keanu is also ugly. I'll never forgive Matrix 2 for making me look at his scrawny butt.

                            Tom Hanks in The Terminal was good. That movie would have been way better if it had been sans Catherine Zeta-Jones. Or whatever.
