Game Idea (kindof long.... ^_^')
i dont really know if this is the right forum to post this as im still relatively new to the Pavilian... anyways this is the story im working on so far.
"The world of Aden, a beautiful mysterious land thriving in nature and peace. The gods that created the world, known as Aeons, consider Aden to be the masterpiece of all lands."
"But Archnet, the most vile and cruel of all the Aeons, grew tired of caring after the mortals that inhabited Aden, tired of their constant peace. So he appeared into the mortal world in his full Aeon form and wreaked havoc on all the inhabitants."
"In response to Archnet's massacre, Eltimik, Leader and most powerful of all the Aeons, unleashed all his power to seal the Aeons firmly in place so they could never leave the spirit realm again, destroying himself in the process."
"Many centuries have passed since Archnet's brutal attack on the human realm, which has grown to be more peaceful and prosperous than ever. All this time Archnet has been biding his time slowly building up his power. In one final attempt to break Eltimik's seal, he released all his anger, all his rage, and managed to crack the seal, just barely."
"Archnet tried again and again to break through the now weakened seal, but it was still to powerful for Archnet to pass through. He contemplated ways to escape, and tried to conceal his power enough for him to pass safely through the seal."
"Archnet transfered half of his power out of himself and concealed it in the form of a weapon. But without the full power of a god, he was devolved from a godly state into a mere creature. Since him and the weapon were both weak enough to slip through the seal, he escaped the spirit realm, ready to unleash his wrath on the unsuspecting people of Aden."
"Upon ariving in Aden, Archnet found that he was unable to merge with the powers he had sealed inside the weapon, and therefore he was stuck in the form of an animal, with almost no power. As such, Archnet set off in search of a wielder of the weapon, one who could use the other half of his weapon to both of their advantages."
"All of the other Aeons, fearful of what Archnet would do, followed suit and they all pursued him to the mortal world in the form of creatures. Upon ariving, they also set off to find human partners with whom they could share their powers, and finally put a stop to the vile Archnet."

so thats the main storyline... the battles are slightly different from most rpg maker battles, as you will only have 2 characters in your party throughout the entire game. A Young boy who controls the dagger concealing half of your Aeons power, and your Aeon Partner. The Aeon is the only one that will EVER attack, and the boy uses the dagger to cast self buffs on the Aeon. The boy will be placed in the back row behind the Aeon... and just so people wont TRY to put him in the front for an edge, he only gets one weapon througout the entire game, (The Aeons Spirit Weapon) which will have no attack power whatsoever, and the only stats that will raise per human lvl up, is Magic so that he can buff the Aeon... the Aeon however will have full lvl ups, evey stat increasing.
anyways, its still a work in progress, but i would REALLY like to know what everyone thinks about it...
