Look, I'm really going out on a limb here, but is VX going to be made solely for Windows Vista?

Re: "Vista Experience"???
There is a Japanese Version out now (and possibly an English translated trial version) and the story reads that the trial will be free, but limited as far as switches and distribution of created games is concerned. If you buy it you are seemingly only limited by your imagination, your harddrive size and the five tilesets limit.Originally posted by Lord Cohliani View PostI heard they were realising two editions. But what do I know...
I think maybe I should rephrase my original question: What does the "VX" stand for? I was thinking "15" like in Roman numerals (but isn't that "XV"?) because we might be up to fifteen of these by now, but I dunno...A God from the Machine - Menander

Re: "Vista Experience"???
You can find the Japanese trial version here.
No sign of the English version even though it's suppose to be out Feb 29 at the latest.
I think VX must stand for Vista XP, an indication that those are the two versions of Windows the program will work with.

V = 5Originally posted by Lord Cohliani View PostVX is roman numerals for the number 5 DUH!
X = 10
5 + 10 = 15
That was my logic, but RNs usually run the other way: XV = 15
...hence my original question.
On another note, thanks to all who tried so valiently to answer my question!A God from the Machine - Menander

Re: "Vista Experience"???
VX is 510...come on people, its basic roman mathematics
Now that Valk is hosting XP and VX games I might get this.
Now heres a conspiracy theory, VX=5-10, VX was released in Japan in 2007, 10 years ago from that date RPG Tsukūru 3 came out for the PS1, 5 years ago from 2007 RPG Tsukūru 5 came out for the PS2...if we follow the sequence of numbers 5-10-15, the next console game should be RPG Tsukūru 7 for the PS3 in 2012.
Wherever RPG Tsukūru 6 went I don't know, but conspiracy theories are known to have holes and are denied they do fiercely by their followersLast edited by JPS; 02-28-2008, 11:01 PM.
