I recommend it. Not quite as good a recommendation as Magus or Mora could give, but I still recommend it.
It's a fun film, and I learned a lot about Iran that my ignorant American mind didn't know before.
Like how they speak French.
Edit: It got 96% at rottentomatoes. (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/persepolis/)

I loved it. And I think it was robbed at the Oscars. CG animated films, back the **** OFF.
But I really loved how it presented the main character as just a regular girl who happened to be raised in Iran. It really made the whole situation with the oppressive fundamentalist regime feel like it mattered to you. I also love that it's not as much a political movie as it is about this one woman's personal journey to find her identity. A truly worthwhile viewing. And just to allay any concerns: this movie is often quite funny and not the downer you'd think a movie about Iran would be.

Favorite part is a tie between her first punk rock concert and when she decided to wake up out of her depression.
I really want to see it. I had no idea it even existed until the nominees were announced a month or so ago.

I saved it to my Netflix queue, so when it hits it'll get to the top of my queue.
