View Full Version : Ralph Nader
He just announced he's running for President again, for the 4th time. Why can't he just friggin' give it up already???

He wants to be president real bad.
I'd rather vote for a cactus.

Ralph Nader didn't run for the Green Party last year, and he's only a draft candidate this year. This will most likely be another one of those times he runs as an independent.
Good try, though.
I think he runs every year because he honestly wants to make change. He's done so much small stuff in his lifetime, I think he wants the ability to do something big. Who here recognizes Ralph Nader as the guy who got car manufacturers to have windows roll up just a little slower and safer? Anyone?

If I could vote, I'd probably vote for him. Except this time I want Obama to win.
I'd consider it if Clinton wins the nom.

nader runs for president because he gets a lot of support and backing from republicans who want to siphon away votes from the democratic candidates to him.

He's not running for the Greens though. He's doing his own thing, whatever that is.
Hey, it's a democracy, right?

And I'm sure some of the Democrats would do the same to some right-wing whackjob if they felt they had to. Neither party is afraid of the scorched earth tactics. Divide and conquer!

Although he's a joke in Presidential Elections, Nader has done a lot of good stuff for our nation (certainly a lot more good than GWB ever did). Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_Nader#Activism
I agree with (and got a kick out of) everything PostulateMan said.
