anyone else seen this horror movie classic? it was playing on tv and i had to watch it (been seeing a lot of old classic movies lately).

its very easy to see why this black and white masterpiece is rated so highly.

especially noteworthy is the legendary death scene, where the chick is stabbed and she managed to keep her eyes open and body still for like a 40 second pan out from her eyes. was very well done.

about a week and some ago i saw jaws for the first time yet i somehow missed the classic scene. i turned away for like 10 seconds and turned back and the scene ended.

the crusty old sailor guy getting eaten by the shark and the boat semi sinking.

also about 2 months ago i went and saw the directors' director cut of blade runner which included the famous unicorn dream scene. saw it at the oldest theater ive ever been to, a one screen old toronto theater. was really good and artsy.

not bad if i do say so myself! im getting cultured.

The first time I saw Psycho was the remake on TV. Probably not the best version, but come on, can you ever go wrong Vince Vaughn?

Yes. In the Psycho remake.

Psycho, Jaws and Blade Runner rank among some of my favorite movies.

The crusty sailor guy is Robert Shaw. He is a true badass, taken from us too soon. Look for him in From Russia With Love, Robin & Marian, The Sting and The Taking of Pelham 123.

:themoreyouknow

Good job, man. Start watching more.

Never seen Psycho and don't plan on it. No particular reason why, just don't feel like it.

there has to be someone out there like me who may of not seen it, seeing as i just crawled out from under a rock.

@magus: yea Robert died like 4 years after jaws. he was awesome as quint. i heard him and Matt didnt get along in real life which must of helped with their part. from russia with love is definably high on my to watch list.

Jaws is in my top five movies of all time. I wrote a 40 page paper on the cage building scene.

The first time I saw Psycho from the beginning was my Film as Art class a couple years ago. I didn't even know it started out with a bank heist before then. Saw some great movies in that class. Like Chinatown.

I think I'd never seen Vince Vaughn in a movie before the Psycho remake, and I took an IMMEDIATE dislike to him....granted, he didn't write the script or direct the film or anything, but I thought it was sacreligious that they pretty blatantly showed him yanking it. Ever since, I've had a disdain for him.

I'm pretty sure that means you're going to Hell.

Yeah, you can't judge Vince Vaughn solely on what is arguably his worst starring role.

Psycho 3 has Rex Manning in it!

I don't think Vince Vaughn has ever amused me.

No, not at all like me.

Chuck

Completely different. Mora's not in anybody's group of friends.

Please, please, everyone!

Let's judge Vince Vaughn based off of "The Lost World" and "The Break-Up"

Also Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Wedding Crashers.

lets leave vinces face and moras loneliness out of this and focus on what matters.

I have friends. |:3

But the point of seeing Psycho is a little lost on me since the ending has been revealed eighty gazillion times during my youth.
