In Desperate Need of Your Help, Guild Wars-players

I'm trying to get Prophecies for my friend. The problem is this: We have no ride to be able to buy the retail version, and PlayNC is a whiney little *****. It won't accept my mom's credit card through their site, but I KNOW it will on the In-Game store. So please... Could someone caring and loving pm me a friend key that they might have leftover? Mine were lost after the whole house was super-cleaned. :tear

They aren't accepting your Credit card for a reason, you typed somthing wrong. Make sure everything is correct. They are REALLY picky.

There is a factions preview on the website right now. You can live with that.

Well, I'm pretty sure I had everything right. I made a new master account using my mom's info and had that as tha account for my friend. I then went into credit card info and put everything right. However, on the card for the name it's Laura J. Should I include the J somewhere? If not then I have EVERYTHING put in correctly.

By the way.. Where's the Factions preview at?

...Also, say that for the number it's 4 digits, 6 digits, and then 5 digits. Do I space them out or what?

Does your mom know you are using her credit card? If she doesn't, I don't think we can help you further. If she does have her do it, she'll prolly know what is going on. If not, you can buy Prophesies in just about any store, try Best Buy and Circuit city for about 20-30 bucks. I always liked it this way because it's nice to have a hard-copy of the game you just spend a ton of money on.

Yeah, she knows. She's let me use it a couple of other times for Guild Wars. Honestly, I'd like to not bother her with it since she's not feeling well today and she;s just input the same info that I did. I remember using the credit card one other time about three days ago on their in-game store and the card was accepted then, but not on PlayNC's site.

Then perhaps you should try the in-game store, or you could try and contact the PlayNC techs to see what is going on.

Yeah, I hit that dead-end last night. The In-game store can only be used with an already made account, and the techies claimed they fixed it, but when I said they didn't, I never got a reply. Plus, my original goal was to buy the game from them to be able to actually make an account, but when that didn't work, I decided to ask here to see if anyone had any guest pass codes.

I really I wish I had some to share with you. I'm not even sure I know how to get them!

Yeah, you only get them in the retail versions of Guild Wars. :( I'm going to try and get ahold of my friend in New York and see if he has one left over from Factions.

I have both Guild Wars expansions along with Guild Wars Game Of The Year Edition but I don't see anything about a friend code or anything

EDIT: I found the Friend keys but they are for other NCSoft MMO games

Hmm... I KNOW they exist, since my friend gave me his Nightfall one so I could try it out. I also recall getting one with MY Nightfall. It should have been closed up like the actual game keys were. ...Oh well.

I don't know how your friend got it for you, but I can support his story. I am OCD about keeping my stuff with my original software, and I've kept everything that came with the software in the box. There are no friend codes in the retail version of Factions, just the free-trails you get with the other MMORPGs.

Checked it out for Factions, too, and I guess they started doing this with Nightfall.

Fixed! My friend had his Epic Trial key which let me create an account for my friend. :D
