I was going to wait until I post all the parts of Ke's Tales: The New Punk on the Block (The first out of three parts is currently posted in the Imaginari, for those who are interested), but I just can't.

As mentioned in the story, there are seven beings called 'xantu'. They are people who have been cursed by one of seven curses (which are each based off one of the seven deadly sins-greed, sloth, lust, envy, gluttony, pride, and wrath). I'm having a hard time coming up with other xantu than the ones I've already come up with, and I want to hear some of your ideas. I'll admit, I'm also doing this out of curiousity.

You can pick any sin you want to base you xantu off of, but I prefure that you pick one besides greed, envy, or sloth. You can post more than one idea. The information I want you to include is:

• Planet of origin (does not have to be Earth)

• Sin cursed by

• Origin (Back story)

Remember, a person is cursed by a sin they express the most. Have fun with this and thank you for your contributions.

Sin: Wrath
Origin: Was originally a being of beauty and grace, until tricked by a man named Onderre Yggra. He proceed to use him as a tool by having him destroying countless civilizations. Once Yggra was through with him he disposed of Jamos, launching him into the darkness of space. Ever since, his heart was filled with nothing, but rage and hate.

Born in the age of enlightenment, he quickly rose to fame as a prolific writer of his time, crafting many books on reason and philosophy. almost as quickly, his fame fast became egotistical pride, leading to his destruction and the desecration of his works. broken and twisted, he maintained his pride living an eternal curse till he fell out of memory. over the centuries since many legends have appeared suggesting that the disgraced philosopher refused to die, his pride refusing to accept his fate.

By "origin" I meant backstory. What was this person like? What attraocities did they commit to be cursed like they were? And so on.

Here's what I'm looking for

Name: Byron Vante

Planet: Earth

Sin: Greed

Byron Vante was originally a con artist from the eighteen hundreds. After swindling thousands of people out of their money, the Xantu curse of greed took hold of him. However, this only lead him to be a wish dealer, one who grants wishes. Due to a wish he made with a fellow wish dealer, he's immortal (at th ecost of his human form). Byron now lives his eternal life in his demon form, granting peoples wishes not as a con artist, but as a sort of crime boss.

From the Future (which is how she is from Venus), part of the curse is she must endure living in a "barbaric" time period. In the future she was a strict enforcer of Venutian law. She believed that any PDF was horrible and barbaric, and she prosecuted people to the fullest extent of the law. A powerfull alien life form, comprised of energy, decided that Tira needed to loosen up, she needed to intimately understand the "barbaric" behavior she so abhored. The alien being imbued her with a nearly insatiable sex-drive and sent her hundreds (thousands?) of years into the past. How far she gets sent back depends on the setting of your story. She could not return until she had succumbed to the deepest depths of her new lusts, and finally excepted it as a part of human nature.

Sin: Envy

A childhood friend of Ke Blazer and Hiyoko Swordslash, Julius dreamed of being a knight and having a relationship with Ke. However, a training accident (involving Hiyoko) injured the ten year old Julius to an extent that he couldn't fulfill his training. And to make things worse, Hiyoko won Ke's affections before Julius had a chance. Full of jealousy and rage, the Xantu curse of envy connected to Julius. Julius used his new found powers to attain wealth for his poor family. Out of a turn of irony, should Julius attain Ke's affections, his curse will subside and he will lose his fortune.

Planet: Earth
Sin: Sloth

Lana was once a "chosen one" for the Order of Seabastian, a religious society sworn to protect the world from evil. However, her selfishness and abandonment of this responsibility lead to the deaths and severe injuries of many of the people she was supposed to save. After the pervious victim of the curse, a man named Victor Tullany, freed himself from the curse (via "redemption"), the curse attached itself to Lana.
