Basically, Lefties are better in fights and sports because most people don't see it coming. I can vouch for this because in high school basketball, people would instinctively try to block my shot w/ their left hand because that's what you do for a righty. I guess this makes up for being succeptable to more diseases.

Also interesting, more violent societies produce more left handers.

No, if left-handed or right-handed had nothing to do with it the percentage of lefties with diseases would be the same as the righties. It would all scale, so the percentage wouldn't change.

I don't see how it matters wheather your left or right handed in a fight. If you can or can't punch makes way more of a difference. Not to mention most people use their oppisite hand to set up for a haymaker. It's not really a supprise if you notice those kind of things. That's just my take.

I personally am ambidextrous. My right hand is a lot stronger but I can do almost anything with my left... But I think I was actually trained to be like that. My mom is a leftie so she set up most things in the hose to be left handed. Instead of just switching them around must of us are too lazy and use it leftie. This makes us skilled with both hands lol... For instance I can use a mouse with both hands, But I'm actually better leftie! Although I throw a baseball for example, better as a rightie...

There are somethings that I do right-handed. I could never use lefty scissors, for example, I always use them with my right hand. Same thing with a mouse. I learned how to use a mouse right handed, and it took me a while to really get the hang of it, but using a mouse left-handed would screw me up.
