our bills are so different then one another that we never confuse them, which means we wont give 100 when we think we are giving a 10. of course i think this makes our money harder to fake, or maybe it just wasnt worth it to make counterfeit canadian bills, would be like making counterfeit pasos, why bother? the earth tones are lame, the usa needs to get some upbeat money colors.

But I think people confused 20s and 50s a lot back in the day. I know I've had to argue my change out of several fast-food workers when I handed a 50 and they gave me back change for a 20.

thats why the cashier puts the bill on top of the keypad while she gets your change, so if theirs a dispute she can point out what you did pay. when i was wheeling and dealing with american bills i had a hard time distinguishing them, unless i took a look at them. its nice to be able to pull a bill out and know what it is by the color rather then look at the denomination.
