I saw this in a comic book store today and it looked interesting.

Any of you weirdos read this or know anything about it?

After Fables and 52, Y is next on my "comics to read" list.

It's supposed to be grand, and it just ended apparently. Which is nice. Finiteness is a big plus in my book.

The writer of Y, Brian K. Vaughn, did a Marvel series, Runaways, that's a fun Whedon-esque read. I think it's still ongoing though.

Vaughn, similar to fellow comics scribe Paul Dini, is also working on LOST in some capacity.

I keep meaning to pick up volume one but never did bother to. I'm tempted to just download the whole thing but that'd be evil. I prefer to only pirate things I wouldn't or couldn't buy otherwise.

Brian K. Vaughn wrote Cloverfield.

I own volumes 1 through 6 which is every book up to 36. I'm currently loving it, one of my favorite comics.

In case you're not familiar with the story, a plague has killed every male creature on the planet except a young man, Yorick, and his pet monkey.

The writing is clever, intelligent, and often hilarious. Definitely pick this up; I'd stick with the volumes though, which are typically 4-5 books bound together, holds up better then the soft bound. They're usually around $10-12 in book stores or Amazon. (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_m/104-0637078-2715930?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Y%3A+the+last+man&x=14&y=18)
